As a hairstylist and salon owner, I’m constantly trying new hair tools and brushes on my clients and for my own personal use. As a professional, I know what I like when it comes to hairbrushes. Recently, I generously received hairbrushes from a brand called Spornette. I wanted to share my thoughts on these brushes with you, so here is my Spornette hairbrush review.

Luxury Cushion
The Luxury Cushion Spornette Hairbrush is absolutely a brush everybody needs to own. I live and swear by cushion brushes that have a combination of nylon and boar bristles.
Because the Luxury Cushion has boar bristles, it is ideal for smoothing your hair and making it shiny while styling your hair. The nylon bristles on this Spornette hairbrush are slightly longer than their boar bristle counterparts.
This difference in length makes this brush great not only for styling but detangling too.
Don’t worry about your hair type when it comes to the Luxury Cushion Spornette hairbrush. If you have fine or coarse hair, you’ll love this cushion brush! It’s even gentle on damaged hair.
This brush is a fantastic one-stop-shop for anyone in the market for a new hairbrush.
Ion Boar/Nylon Cushion Hair Brush
Much like the Luxury Cushion brush, the Ion Boar/ Nylon Cushion Hair Brush has boar and nylon bristles.
The nylon bristles are slightly longer than the boar bristles, and they feel amazing on your scalp.
I use this hairbrush as much as I can, just for the scalp massage. Not only does the scalp massage feel good, but it’s good for your hair! Massaging the scalp regularly with the Ion Boar/ Nylon Cushion Hair Brush can stimulate blood flow, and might encourage your hair to grow faster!
The boar bristles also help spread around your hair’s natural oils, nourishing the ends of your hair, and extending the time you can between washes.
I love how it smoothes the hair and makes it shiny. It’s vented too, so it speeds up my drying time when I’m doing a rough blowdry on a client.
I highly recommend both the Luxury Cushion and the Ion Boar/ Nylon Cushion Hair Brush to anybody!
Ion Fusion Rounder
The Ion Fusion Rounder is in the same brush collection as the Ion Boar/ Nylon Cushion Hair Brush. This Spornette hairbrush has crimped Ion Charged & Anti-Static Bristles that help keep the hair on the brush without slipping.
I like to detangle and do a rough dry with the Ion Boar/ Nylon Cushion Hair Brush and then do a blowout using the Ion Fusion Rounder.
This brush is so lightweight and easy to use. You definitely don’t have to be a professional hairstylist to use this beauty!
Pro tip: when using a round brush on your hair, be sure not to wrap the hair around the brush. (You’ll get the brush stuck if you do this.)
Instead, do a slight turn of the wrist when you place the hair at the root. Then, pull the brush and hair straight away from the face.
Doing this will help prevent frizzies, too.
Tourmaline Ionic Bristle Hairbrush
Just like the Ion Fusion Rounder, the Tourmaline Ionic Bristle Hairbrush by Spornette is incredible for creating volume and using while blowdrying.
This Spornette hairbrush is from the Long Smooth Operator Collection.
It has the crimped bristles for creating tension, allowing you to get smooth and sleek hair.
The Tourmaline Ionic Bristle Hairbrush has a really nice rubberized handle that helps prevent slippage that I love!
This blue beauty comes in a range of sizes so you can find the perfect size for your length. Remember: the longer the hair, the bigger the brush! It will help you work faster through long locks.
For shorter hair, opt for a smaller size. A smaller barrel size will allow you to have more control in shorter hair.
The Ventura Blow-Out Brush
This hybrid Spornette hairbrush is, as Hannah Montana would say, “the best of both worlds.”
Because the Ventura Blow-Out Brush is a combination of a flat paddle brush and a round brush, it’s a real multi-tasker.
The sides have boar bristles while the middle does not. This brush’s large size and vents make your dry time so quick.
If you plan on traveling, I definitely recommend this brush since it’s a multi-use tool. You can straighten hair and create gorgeous curls or flips once you perfect the flick of the wrist.
The Big Wonder and Little Wonder Teasing Brushes
No hairbrush arsenal is complete without a teasing brush. I mean it.
Whether you’re wearing your hair in an updo or wearing it down, you look so much more pulled together with a little teasy-tease at the roots.
The Big Wonder and Little Wonder Teasing Brushes make doing the job so easy. The combination of boar and tourmaline nylon bristles aren’t just great for paddle brushes!
You can backcomb, tease, or smooth flyaways with these compact, yet power-packed brushes.
If you have shorter or fine-textured hair, the Little Wonder is for you.
Girls with coarse, thick, or Rapunzel status hair should opt for the Big Wonder.
