In May 2021, Team True Beauty proudly combined with the blog formerly known as North American Beard Alliance. Combining blogs has helped Team True Beauty present the best personal care and beauty items for all kinds of people.
Meet Paulina
I haven’t always been confident. I grew up in rural Minnesota, and for the first 20 years of my life, I hardly knew what makeup was.
From those beginnings, I have grown and have come to find that I love the beauty industry. It is so diverse that every day is an entirely new experience.
Once I went to cosmetology school, I started figuring things out. Since graduating from cosmetology school, I have founded three salons and have sold two. I currently own Mill Pond Salon in New London, Minnesota. In 2021 I developed a severe allergy to hair color during my pregnancy that unfortunately did not go away. I have since transitioned into full time tattooing and permanent makeup. We have since opened our tattoo shop called The Art of Ink Studio.
I do what I do because I love making people feel great about themselves. I get to finish work at the end of the day thinking, “I got to help someone feel beautiful today.” That’s what makes me feel confident and beautiful.
When I’m not working, I spend time with my two sons and my amazing husband. My loving husband Sam has willingly joined me on the ride of Team True Beauty.

Joining my wife, Paulina, at Team True Beauty has been a spectacular opportunity for us both. We work well together in our business ventures and as a family, and we thrive by challenging ourselves.
I wanted to combine North American Beard Alliance with Team True Beauty to share our insights with even more readers.
Additionally, Sam is a partner both at a marketing agency called Romain Berg, but also a CBD brand called Hemponix.
